We are also engaged by organisations and individuals to provide publishing and training services. In providing these services, we collect and use personal information.

Why we collect information
Lexi Communications will collect only personal information that is necessary for its business functions and activities, or to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, including:
- to communicate with you about our services and upcoming courses and videos available
- to provide online courses and videos securely behind a membership site
- to help us improve our services
- to gather feedback for market analysis and course development
- for any other purposes that you have consented to.

What we collect
If you purchase a course or videos from us, we’ll ask for a user name, email address and a name.
Our system also records your IP for security reasons (i.e. we have restrictions on the number of IPs per username to protect the use of our membership site), how you paid (not your credit card or bank details) and your password.
If we need to communicate with you, we may collect your residential and/or postal address and telephone numbers.
To help us improve our services, we may collect your responses to surveys and details about how, when and why you access our services.
We may record information about your visit to your website. This might include server address, the date, time and duration of your visit, search terms you used, the pages you viewed, any documents you downloaded and the type of device, browser and operating system you used. This does not reveal your identity. We collect this information for statistical and marketing purposes.
Your information will not be released to a third party without your written consent.

We process payments via PayPal, which means we don’t hold any bank account or credit card information.

You can also help protect the privacy of your personal information by keeping your account details confidential (including your password), and ensuring that you log out of your account on our website when you have finished using it.

Who we share information with

We may de-identify and aggregate the personal information of you and others for our own statistical purposes. Provided that it remains permanently de-identified, we may disclose that aggregated information to third parties or publish it for marketing or research purposes.
Note: Currently, we do not disclose personal information to third parties located overseas. If we change our policy in the future, we will amend this Privacy Policy accordingly.
Accessing and changing personal information
You can request access to the personal information that we hold about you and request corrections by contacting our Privacy Officer via our website or the contact details below.
We aim to respond to your request within five business days.
You also have the right to request access to your personal information at any time. We aim to forward this to you within five working days via your email address or in another way you request where possible.
